Concrete Video

If a picture is worth a thousand words, what's a video worth? Your next concrete job is what we hope.

We've put a video of one of our pours on our website to show off one of our trucks in action.

Next up some interviews, perhaps a customer testimonial or two.

Referrals mean business

My wonderful extended sales force...

Sure, we hustle like everyone out there. Our drivers, our operations manager, office staff, we're all hustling for business. Probably you are also. Makes me wonder just who those folks were who could sit by the fax machine and wait for orders to come in. Mental note, stockpile toner for the good times...

Repeat business, word of mouth, and direct referrals are a mainstay for our business. Doing a good job and providing a quality product backed by hard work always speaks for itself, but sometimes you need to provide some incentive to get the the word amplified to a larger audience.

Fine. We're on it!

All of our employees are recruiting sales through our referral program every day. Simply put, we compensate folks who refer business to us through our referral program. Right now, every one of our employees have materials which outline the program, and are distributing to the trades we interact with.

In the bay area? In the concrete trade? Have concrete business for us? Call us, and let us welcome you to our extended "sales force". If it's good for us, it will be good for you. Ask about our referral program.

No Hot Loads, Ever

It happens. Waste and charges due to project delays. Sometimes unavoidable, and often from last minute issues out of your control.

Have a load of concrete sit in a standard transit mixer for too long and it will no longer be usable, it goes "hot" - or sets too much to be usable for your project. Once hot, the concrete will need to be dumped - either at your site (hope you have a big hole to fill) or back at the concrete yard with incredible service fees. This can happen from a number of reasons, including:
  • Failed inspections
  • Difficult locations
  • Traffic and accidents
  • Weather
  • Wait time

On the other hand, Fresh Concrete is never hot as it is manufactured as needed from a volumetric mixer truck - which can be thought of as a mobile cement plant. Just like a plant, the mix can be dialed in to fit the situation, but we find a good quality result with a standard seven sack mix.

Start and stop? Wait? Difficult location? Inspector late? Whatever. Never a hot load.
